What to expect when unboxing your Shipped Flower Press

The day has finally come, your flower press has arrived!! After spending 3-5 days being shipped across the Country or Internationally, Its here in your hands!

Though almost all of the flower presses Vintage Elegance has shipped off have arrived safely and in perfect condition, there are some things to consider when unboxing your press.

Just like most of our personal orders being shipped, we can’t possibly keep in control of how and who is exactly handling our item. The same goes for your fragile flower press, All Vintage Elegance can be sure of is to pack it as safe and securely as possible with a FRAGILE GLASS sticker on the box.

Due to rough handling in transit some boxes might be thrown or not prioritized as fragile. This can result in possible damage to your press.

Dust or Loose & fallen leaves

Depending on the types of florals or brush (tend to shed naturally when moved alot) there can be some shedding to be seen in the clear portion of the glass. Sometimes a petal or small leaf will be visible. This can happen easily when moved harshly and not dealt carefully.

That is why it is extremely important to prioritize a still, and secure place when hanging it in your home. This is not a piece that is meant to be moved around or taken places easily like any average photo-frame or oil painting could.

What you should do if this happens: Contact Emily through email/phone number explaining the situation.

This depends on how much has fallen out of place. Now if it is a small leaf or a couple pieces of brush or two, that isn’t too visible and you want to leave as is, that’s perfectly fine.

If it is a wide range of florals completely out of place, contact Emily and we can have it shipped back to be reglued.

Broken or Cracked Glass

Though this has rarely ever happened out of the hundreds of flower presses that have been shipped out, but is still a possibility. Worst case scenario the glass has broken but it is fixable.

What you should do if this happens: Contact Emily through email/phone number explaining the situation. If it is a crack or two on the front sheet of glass we can discus and find a local framer to reframe your piece with a new sheet of glass.

If the backside piece is cracked, we can discuss a plan to have you ship back your press to be repaired.

Though almost all flower presses are shipped safely and have no damages. These damages can happen and is good to keep in mind when unboxing.

If any of these possible damages may happen just contact Emily through email and we can figure out a solution from there!

Be sure to re-read the Terms & Conditions
