First, here’s a visual edit for some of my visual learner’s out there :)

Depending on the frame size you choose, alters the “floating” look to your Press, the space between the lining of the florals and the edge of the frame. This depends totally on your preference, as the fullness of your press can differ between each bouquet and the amount of greenery that’s in it. Read below for more info on greenery amount…..

“Is my Bouquet the right size for this specific frame size?”

How exciting is it to not only know you can preserve your fresh florals from your wedding night in to a timless piece of Art to keep forever but also bring back life to your old crunchy florals as-well!

Maybe you’ve discovered Vintage Elegance Co through Instagram Reels and saw a Floral press in the perfect frame, you couldn’t help but think how much you’d love your fresh/ dried florals in that exact frame.

Before you get to placing your order there are some things to consider first.

Of course any bouquet can work for any frame (depending on the arrangement style you’re going for) Spaced out florals floating in the frame. But in some cases not all sizes work, like my most usual arrangement style, (pictured to the right) the circular full look most people want.

Amount of Greenery & Florals

Live Bouquet

Like most bridal Bouquet’s usually are almost always large. With plenty of greenery and florals. This is something you must consider before booking the largest 16”x20” Frame. Almost everytime there are always plenty of florals leftover to add on an additional 8”x10” or 5”x7” add on.

Large Bouquet

(perfect for 16”x20” or 11”x14 with collage Add ons

10-20 florals

10-15 greenery stems

Amount of Greenery & Florals

Dried Bouquet

Dried floral Bouquets are always different in size, depending on how old your bouquet is can depend on how many florals are left to press. For example, a 2 year dried bouquet will not be the same as a 10 year dried bouquet. With aging comes with some delicate florals or brush falling off overtime. It really depends on how you’ve preserved your florals overtime.

The amount of greenery you have in a Bouquet can make a very big difference in creating that fuller circular arranged look that many people want. If there is no greenery, that can effect the background fill underneath the pressed florals, also the edging and size of the arrangement in the frame. Depending the florals can end up looking awkward and almost swallowed up by the amount of extra space in the frame.

This 2 year dried Bouquet has a great variety of florals but no greenery, which will make a great impact in the thick and circular fuller look most want.

A smaller Frame size 8”x10” is recommended when working with a bouquet with not alot of greenery.

If you know the kind of greenery your bouquet had, Emily can press fresh greenery from her local florist to create a fuller look in a larger frame size.

8 years dried bouquet has alot of brush and some greenery but is still not enough for the largest 16”x20” frame.

The best frame size that would fit best is a 11”x14” or 8”x10”

6 year dried Bridal Bouquet

This bouquet is quite old and in great condition to be used for multiple frame sizes

Plenty of greenery to create that full look

End result for the perfect 16'“x20” frame
